Description

This module will introduce students to modern and advanced materials for specialist and high-performance applications that push the boundaries of engineering science by enhanced performance. Their properties, applications and the processes and treatments they undergo to modify those characteristics will be examined. Materials explored will be nickel superalloys, titanium alloys, specialist composites, and biomaterials.
